Faceted Yunomi

A cup that feels like it was pulled from the earth and finished in the ocean. This Faceted Yunomi is hand built from warm, sandy clay, shaped into subtle angular planes that catch the light and sit beautifully in the hand. Around the rim, a deep blue/indigo glaze melts and drips naturally each run and pool is different, like a fingerprint in glaze.

It’s the kind of piece you keep on open shelving because it looks like a small sculpture, but you’ll reach for it daily because it just feels right. Every cup is handmade by Tento, so no two are ever exactly the same your yunomi will be similar in character, with its own unique faceting, glaze flow, and surface texture.
